We envision a country in which more of the wealth that has accumulated at the top is invested in building power with those who are least well-served.
To get there, we envision a philanthropic landscape in which donors can find a strong donor support organization (or three or four) that expands their ambition, values, and urgency to engage in impact-driven philanthropy.
NORTH STAR
More multi-year general operating dollars are distributed to more BIPOC- and LGBTQIA+-led and/or grassroots organizations and movements (either directly or through pooled funds) and with more urgency.
2024 Priorities
To advance a more equitable, visible, and accessible ecosystem that supports more donors to give to BIPOC- and LGBTQIA+-led and/or grassroots organizations and movements:
We connect the ecosystem by cultivating a ‘network of networks’ among donor supporting organizations and individual donors to share knowledge, spread best practices, cultivate alignment, and increase impact
We introduce donors into the ecosystem through influence, support, and relationships with non-philanthropic donor spheres of influence (i.e., wealth advisors, bank institutions, etc.) to cultivate donors earlier in their philanthropic journeys.
